2023 Planned outings - should be a great year

Frans enjoying -1 degree temps in Breckenridge. He was later seen in the hot tub with a Dutch beer and a german-style bratwurst.

Alyssa went bioluminescent kayaking with son and sister’s family. They saw horseshoe crabs that date back before dinosaurs and is a descent of spiders and scorpions .

Ying took a sunset hike at Sweetwater wetland park. Saw a momma croc and 8 babies.

Tyler at Whistler. Pretty impressive mountain. Plenty of challenging snowboarding for those who want to push the envelope

Bill and family had a great time skiing at Keystone, Colorado. Daughter loved the fabulous Ski School and we assume that Bill likes the gnarly moguls.

Frans starts 2023 with a hike in a park near Signal Mountain TN. Amazing bluffs and vegitation.

Bracken closes out 2022 with an epic off-trail hike. 8.2 miles up Black cap Hill in the Green Hills Preserve. Elevation gain 1,932 ft over 3.5 hours. Temperature great, hiking conditions .... dicey.

Wes and Ron hiked Arnold Arboretum in Boston. Wes embraced the cold weather and loved the exhilaration of this pre-Christmas adventure. (as did Grandi)

Frank took a morning adventure walk in Fitchburg. Minus 11 degrees.

Helga saw a slightly modernized version of Nutcracker. Directed by Mauro de Candia, a young Italian choreographer. Enjoyed Tchaikovsky music very much!!

Nassau area

Patrick and family took a 5day cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Nassau. Timing was perfect given the minus 30 wind chill temps in continental US.

Copper Falls State Park Northern WI -- Barb's place for winter meditation.

Ying in Reykjavik in December. The days are short in December so limited hiking. But the food is excellent.

Helga visiting Opatija, Croatia. Her home before she ventured off to explore other parts of the world. Lets visit.

Rio Grande Village area is not far from the Chisos Basin area where most trail heads start. The most scenic area is around the Village area, but the most popular trails are in the Chisos Basin area.
